QALAM Newsletter by LTAC

Recently Langkawi Tourism Action Council launched QALAM newsletter at Bella Vista Hotel Langkawi. The aim of having this quarterly newsletter is to create the public awareness that LTAC conducts free foreign language courses on the island. It's about people and languages.. It is hoped that the community.. in particular the front-liners would grab the opportunity they don't get elsewhere.. Among the language courses offered are Mandarin, Japanese, German, Arabic and French.. From time to time.. the students perform a short sketch on stage.. showing the public their ability to communicate in different languages.. Wait for the next stage show during 'Hot and Happening Event' towards end of July 2007. QALAM also features the foreigners who stay on this island.. esp on their views about communication in Langkawi... and Malaysian who can speak foreign language other than their mother tongue.. If you wish to get a copy, please contact LTAC 04-9698080..

Those who have read the newsletter.. feel free to place your opinion or suggestions here.. Frankly.. up till now.. I have received quite good remarks about it..

Btw.. LTAC has agreed to accept DLanguage STUDIO as a permanent venue for French Course. If you are interested, you may place your name and contact number/email here.. We will notify successful applicants (after proper review) the date for the next class at DLS.. Our next French program will only be conducted for 2 months instead of 3..
